The Newcomers Club has filed a lawsuit in federal court against the City of St. Martinville, the City Council, the Mayor, and the Sheriff of St. Martin Parish. Update: St. Martin School Board votes 5-4 to keep all schools open. The board will now have to head to court on January 18th. On Monday at 5 p.m., the St. Martin Parish School Board will hold a special meeting to discuss student assignment at a school in the parish.
